Is the price I am given an “all inclusive”? What is included in
the surgical fee? What is not covered?
When we give a patient a quote it is all inclusive. I have always
practiced this way. We try to have a concierge mentality with our practice that
when we give you a quote it will include; facility fees, anesthesia, as well as
the surgery and postoperative fees. The one thing that is not covered is if
there is a specimen that needs to be sent. If I excise any breast tissue even
for cosmetic surgery I send this for analysis to make sure there is no breast
cancer. Depending on patients insurance there are fees concerning this matter.
