What are the possible risks of
breast implants surgery?
This
is not an uncommon question and probably a little too long for a simple blog;
however, there are some commonly thought of risks that we talk about. These are
bleeding, infection, changes in nipple sensation, and capsular contracture. All
of these as well as the others are discussed very thoroughly in the
consultation and the pre-op visit prior to surgery so we can make sure that
every patient has all their questions answered and is truly achieved an
informed consent when they embark upon surgery. This is just as true for breast
implants as it is for any other surgery.
