The fourth annual Breast Reconstruction
Awareness Day will fall on October 21st this year.
In honor of this,
along with Breast Cancer Awareness month, Dr. Rude will donate $50 to the
Breast Cancer Reconstruction Awareness campaign and fund for every breast
augmentation consultation in the month of October. This campaign is funded by
the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
All proceeds raised by the fund will
be used to fund breast reconstruction research, as well as provide financial
assistance to uninsured or under-insured women seeking breast reconstruction
after a lumpectomy or mastectomy.
