Am I going to lose sensation in my breasts if I get a
lift?
Answer: Generally not.
Changes in nipple sensation have to be listed as a risk of surgery. This
is not a common side effect of breast lifting. It is more common in breast
reductions. It has been my experience that the larger the amount reduced or cut
away the more risks there is of losing some nipple sensation. Generally for a
breast lift this is not a common issue that I have encountered. I would however
list it as a risk of surgery.
